OUR MISSION
Our mission is to strive for Optimal Health in Lupus, chronic illness and unserved communities by educating, supporting, encouraging and empowering those affected or at risk. Our mission is to reduce health disparities for underserved and underrepresented individuals diagnosed with a chronic illness or at risk due to their socio economic status through equity, diversity and inclusion of all people. This is achieved through disease, physical and nutritional education. Our goal is to provide personalized support services, chronic disease education, host community events, and spread disease awareness in and around the community. Our end goal is to lower stress levels, encourage self-management skills and preventative practices suuch as healthy eating and exercise habits in an effort to minimize flares or exposure so that those affected can live an Optimal Healthy Lifestyle.

Who is KFAC?
Karing For A Cause, Inc. (KFAC) is a Non-Profit 501(c)3 organization focusing on underserved communities in the South Florida Region with youth and families diagnosed with Lupus and other chronic illnesses or families that are at risk due to thier socio economic stauts in an effort to achieve optimal health.
KFAC spreads chronic disease awareness and provides individualized services to help bridge the gap of access for those diagnosed or caring for someone diagnosed with a chronic illness. KFAC also provides sercives to indivudals in underserved communites who may not otherwise have access to the proper disease education and/or nutritious foods. This is achieved by providing services tailored to meet our clients individual needs. These services include but are not limited to financial education/support, housing assistance, life skills training, health/ chronic disease education, assistance with locating new providers/reviews, support groups, medication assistance, referrals, community drives, fundraisers, giveaways etc. Each client receiving intricate ongoing services with KFAC will have an individualized success plan tailored to their specific needs with goals and deadlines in an effort to teach/train them to live a more productive, healthier lifestyle in an effort to achieve optimal health!
